We hope you enjoyed Swadfest 09 with all the activities, festivals, exhibitions and events that took place throughout the week. Here are some photos taken during the festival, please visit our www.swadfest.wordpress.com website to see more.
ART EXHIBITION: Swadlincote Town Hall, Friday 26th June to Friday 3rd July.
FESTIVAL OF LEISURE: Maurice Lee Memorial Park, Church Gresley, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June.
CRAFT FAYRE: Sharpe’s Museum, Wednesday 1st July.
LIVE MUSIC and DJING: Swadlincote Town Hall, Saturday 4th July, 10am to 4pm.
As you can see there was lots to do and take part in. Here’s to Swadfest 010!!! If you would to become involved in organising next years festival please contact us at People Express. No previous experience needed just lots of enthusiasm … tea and cake provided at meetings.
